Mary McCarthy - Co-founder and Executive Director / Caroline Worley - Co-founder and V. P and Secretary  McCarthy has 20+ years of experience as an entrepreneur and seven years as the owner and founder of  YMT Consultants, Inc. , a business consulting and development firm. McCarthy is the former Chairperson of SCORE Columbus, sat on the Athena PowerLink Governing Body, sits on the programming committee for the Westerville Chamber, and public policy committee for National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Columbus Chapter. She is a former member of the now-retired Ohio Department of Development’s Small Business Advisory Council. In 2018, Mary was hired as the WSBA as executive director. Her leadership and passion for the organization and its mission cannot be matched. She plans to take the organization to the next level and beyond.  Worley is the in-house council at  The Champion Companies , and former owner of Worley Law, LLC, a legal practice focused on mid-sized business, which she founded in 2009. Before starting Worley Law, LLC, Caroline worked with other law firms, both large and small, and as an Assistant County Prosecutor in Franklin County, Ohio. Caroline serves on the Columbus Chamber's Small Business Council, as a Trustee of the Westerville Chamber, and as Past President for the Columbus Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Caroline was named a top 20 finalist for the 2012 Jefferson Awards, was chosen as Westerville Chamber's 2013 Outstanding Business Person of the Year, WELD'S 2014 Woman You Should Know honoree and received a 2014 Honorable Mention for the 2014 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards. Additionally, Caroline received the Columbus Chamber's 2014 Small Business Leader Award, 2015 Sunny 95 Outstanding Women honoree and received the 2015 Capital University Law School Alumni Outstanding Service Award. In August of 2014, Caroline completed a full Ironman triathlon.

Teresa Russell  Teresa is an Independent Wealth Advisor with LPL Financial. Sally A. Hughes  Sally is CEO & Founder of Caster Connection, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio  Since 1987, Sally Hughes has served as president and chief executive officer of Caster Connection, Inc. a company she founded upon completion of a professional singing career. Caster Connection is an industrial products manufacturer and distributor whose principle products lines include industrial casters and wheels but focus mainly on ergonomic material handling solutions. Ms. Hughes founded and leads the business based upon the solid principle: “providing ergonomic caster and wheel solutions to decrease injuries and increase safety in the workplace”.  Hughes began the business by selling chair casters out of the trunk of her car but quickly began providing heavy duty casters and wheels to industrial companies. A creative suggestion to General Motors Corporation to consolidate their purchasing and select Caster Connection to provide products to their Northeast Ohio factories moved the business to a new level. This approach was then utilized with other industrial companies with multiple locations. In 2009 Hughes moved Caster Connection to Columbus, Ohio.  As the nationwide move to reduce on the job injuries gathered momentum Hughes led Caster Connection’s effort to advance ergonomic safety solutions. The company became recognized for their innovative solutions for moving heavy equipment. Caster Connection used its experience in safety advancement and applied it to the automotive industry, appliance manufacturing, food service, commercial laundry, and bakery industries. Twenty eight years later this multi-million dollar company serves thousands of companies throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.  Hughes is a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), the Women Presidents Organization (WPO), the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She is on the Board of The Women’s Small Business Accelerator, Women’s Leadership Network Advisory Council for Otterbein University, Enterprising Women Magazine advisory Board, and The American Red Cross Tiffany Circle. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of women in business and entrepreneurialism.  She won the SBA 2016 SBA business person of the year for the State of Ohio. She is a community volunteer with particular interest in children’s hospitals, The Wellington School, and maintains her interest in singing through active participation with her church.

Rhonda Talford Knight, PhD  Dr. Rhonda Talford Knight is passionate about creating cultural understanding, awareness, and sensitivity in order to help individuals be advocates for themselves and others. She holds in high regard creating open spaces of inclusion through meaningful dialogue by ensuring all voices are heard, respected, and valued. While this type of work is not considered easy, she comes highly recommended by her clients in the work she has done with and for their communities. In this work, she also coaches and helps clients to develop sustainable DE&I practices through strategy that reaches across their organization.  Rhonda also values creating global awareness. In her global work, she focuses on creating an understanding of cultural competency while deepening her work and research in global awareness. Rhonda previously served as Vice President Inclusion Manager for Huntington Bank and prior to that as an Assistant Professor at Muskingum University where her coursework was grounded in DE&I.  Rhonda holds a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in Social Studies and Global Education, both from The Ohio State University. She resides in Ohio with her two daughters. When she is not busy with her work, she enjoys downtime with her family and running.
